WHY THESE WEEKS MATTER

You have just done something enormous

Ayurveda has always treated the weeks after birth as a time to be cared for. The wish to bounce back is real, and care now looks after your energy rather than taking from it.

Rest

Baby comes first and rest keeps getting postponed. Visits give you room to slow down.

Warmth

Warm oil, steam and gentle binding, in the traditional way, for a body that is healing.

Food

Fresh Ayurvedic food cooked for your body type, so you are fed as well as cared for.

QUESTIONS

Good to know

What happens during a postpartum visit?

Visits are tailored to your needs on the day, including nourishing Ayurvedic meals, warm oil massage (Abhyanga), gentle belly binding, herbal foot baths, and space for emotional processing and rest.

When should we book, and when do visits start?

Most families book during their second or third trimester to secure their dates. Visits typically begin within the first few days or weeks after birth once you are home and settled.

Do I need to be at home, and what do you bring?

Yes, care is provided in the comfort of your own home. I bring all necessary oils, organic herbs, warming ingredients, and specialized supplies, leaving your kitchen clean and peaceful.

Can I book just a few visits?

While standard care packages provide the most comprehensive continuity of care, customized packages or smaller sets of visits can be arranged based on availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full details are outlined in your care agreement during the pre-birth consultation, allowing flexibility for unexpected birth timelines and circumstances.
